On December 16, the Minister of Health of Brazil stated that the two COVID-19 vaccines produced by China and the United Kingdom may be put into use in Brazil in February next year (2021).
According to Reuters, Brazil’s Minister of Health Eduardo Pazuello attended a meeting on the 16th to discuss the COVID-19 vaccination plan. After the meeting, he said that the Health Inspection Agency would be able to analyze the data of vaccines being tested in Brazil in January 2021, “we may receive and register these vaccines to start the (vaccination) plan from mid-February on .”
The report mentioned that the Brazilian Federal Government has reached an agreement on the vaccine with the United Kingdom. At the same time, the State of São Paulo is cooperating with related companies from China.
