LaGuardia AirTrain Public Hearings and Workshops

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has released the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the proposed LaGuardia Airport Access Improvement Project (AirTrain). The proposed project would include passenger stations at LaGuardia Airport that would connect with the New York City subway system and the Long Island Railroad at Willets Point.
The FAA will host a number of virtual public hearings and workshops on this project over a 3-day period, from 9/22 – 9/24. For registration and event information, please see this link.

NYC’s uncounted households will begin to receive a knock on the door by Census Bureau enumerators.

LIC Springs Back! October 2-4, Call for Participants!

LIC Partnership’s 7th Annual LIC Springs is now LIC Springs Back! and will take place on Friday, October 2nd to Sunday, October 4th. Our goal for this community event will remain as it always has been; to showcase everything that LIC has to offer, not just today, but every day of the year.

By combining small in-person events throughout Long Island City with virtual offerings, over 3 days of fun, we will showcase #LICLocal businesses and organizations through their fun, creative, and innovative activities that can be experienced safely by groups of all ages. There are multiple ways to participate and we want to have as many businesses and organizations sign up as possible!
